Description: The International Research Scientist Development Award (IRSDA) provides financial support for advanced U.S. postdoctoral researchers and newly appointed junior faculty to pursue a 3–5-year mentored research career in an eligible low- or middle-income country (LMIC). Applicants must be at least two years post-PhD and have both U.S. and LMIC primary mentors.

Amount: $140,000

Deadline: March 9, 2026
