Ruth Abernathy Presidential Scholarship

Description: Applicants must be current SHAPE America members (graduate students may join upon application), major in health, physical education, recreation, or dance, and be enrolled full-time in a master’s or doctoral program (doctoral candidates must be within one year of completing coursework).

Amount: $1,750

Deadline: October 15, 2025

BEA Scholarship

Description: Scholarships are awarded to students that will be juniors, seniors and/or graduate students at BEA member institutions. The college or university needs to be a member of BEA, individual undergraduate or graduate student membership is NOT required to receive a scholarship.

Amount: $4,000

Deadline: October 16, 2025

$1,000 Graduate School Survey Scholarship

Description: The Graduate School Survey Scholarship is open to current graduate students and alumni who graduated within the last four years. Eligible participants can share their experiences for a chance to win a $1,000 award.

Amount: $1,000

Deadline: September 30, 2025
