Albert E. and Florence W. Newton Nursing Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be a Rhode Island resident studying nursing in or out of state or a non-Rhode Island resident studying nursing in Rhode Island. Past recipients are eligible to reapply.

Amount: $5,000

Deadline: May 6, 2025

OREGON

Portland Chinese Scholarship Foundation Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be at least 25% of Chinese ethnicity. Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States of America (USA). Be a student who is a member of an Oregon high school graduating class with a minimum of four semesters or two years of attendance in the State of Oregon. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher and will attend an accredited college or university in the USA. Applicants must also have completed community service and leadership activities that can be validated with the organization for the activity and number of volunteer hours.

Amount: $3,000

Deadline: May 17, 2025
